“This is a great example of how column-still rum can be packed with flavour – as long as it is distilled with craft, at a high ABV and then matured with care. This is delicious – creamy and lingering, with vanilla, butterscotch and hazelnuts. But it also has some surprising fruit notes – green banana, redcurrant and papaya.”

Tasting Notes

Nose

Greeted by lovely warm butterscotch, hazelnuts, and baking spices. This is followed by buttery popcorn, vanilla and toffee.

Palate

First thing on the palate is lots of fruit - think banana split with papaya and caramel. There is depth and complexity, with a little more green banana coming through on the second taste, and redcurrants on the back palate.

Finish

Rich texture with a creamy mouthfeel that lingers longingly afterwards. It’s a real crowd pleaser.
